Garuda Indonesian Airlines is offering cheap tickets as low as $50 USD between the two cities starting July 22nd!
Why are they doing this, and why are they on this route?
We found it odd, but it looks as way they are routing their aircraft is in a Jakarta-Singapore-Amsterdam-London and a similar return route. However, the route between Amsterdam and London is already heavily covered by KLM Airlines and British Airways, so in an effort to fill the aircraft they are offering some super cheap fares! Be advised though the flights only operate certain days of the week!
We checked to see what a Eurostar train ticket via the Chunnel would cost and the cheapest ticket was around $100 USD – and that’s with advanced purchase! So, if you’re traveling between the two cities, this is certainly something to check out!
